We hired Deborah and Cassie for the day of the wedding and rehearsal. They actually customized a package just for what we needed, which no other coordinator we talked to would do. All of the others had packages which included things we didn't want or need and we would have paid dearly for them. Deborah and Cassie made sure that we had considered every tiny detail and had forgotten nothing. They checked everything we had done and contacted each of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page all of the time. They were in constant contact with us and left nothing to chance. The time they spent was unbelievable when we thought we were just getting someone for about a day and a half. They got there long before anyone else both days and didn't leave until everyone was gone. My appreciation and admiration for the phenomenal job they did can't be stressed enough. We had both the wedding and the reception at Union Station Grand Ballroom and such a large venue had to have been a challenge, but Deborah and Cassie worked long and hard both days to make it appear effortless to any observers. They worked wonderfully with all of the vendors. I am sure Touch of Elegance will be on the preferred lists to their other clients. Hiring them was the best decision we made because we didn't have to worry about anything. They made sure that everything was done just the way we would have wanted when we didn't have time to think about it ourselves. They are a pleasure to work with; professional and efficient, but still warm and friendly. You will feel as if they are a part of your family. I would recommend them to anyone planning any event, and will definitely hire them again in the future. They took the mess of information and ideas I handed them and somehow pulled it all together, organized meetings, asked all of the right questions and made sure things were taken care of that I hadn’t even thought of (and I was sure I’d thought of everything!). With Deborah and Cassie on board we were able to enjoy our wedding day without worrying about any details. Even when the construction of the centerpieces turned out to be slightly disastrous, Cassie spent hours making sure they turned out beautifully. Our wedding party, families and guests all commented on how professional and helpful they were. They served as a disaster shield by gracefully handling any problems before they became issues or came to the attention of me or my wedding party so we were free to enjoy the day. was a complete disaster. Our previous wedding coordinator had unexpectedly
disappeared, our venue had lost all of our information and gone
through several staffing changes, and a little over a month before
the wedding we still had not made arrangements for rental equipment
or musicians. With only a few weeks to go, they stepped in and really
saved our wedding! From the moment we hired A Touch of Elegance everything
really started to come together. They were incredibly organized,
were very professional even when confronted with difficult people,
easy to get in touch with, and the vendors they recommended were
great. Our wedding day went more smoothly than I could have possibly
dreamed. Their help even extended beyond the wedding day -- when
we received an unexpected and incorrect bill from one of our vendors,
they helped us clear up the situation immediately. We were in a
very tough spot when we hired Deborah and Cassie, and I honestly
feel like they rescued us from disaster, and saved me from having
a nervous breakdown! We received so many compliments on our wedding
and I have to give all the credit to them. You ladies are amazing
and we cannot thank you enough! My daughter, Anna, was married on Sept. 27, 2008. As the MOB in an unfamiliar area (We have only lived in the Indianapolis area for 3 years), and with an out-of-state (Texas) bride, I knew that I would need help planning the wedding. I have been extremely happy with my choice of A Touch of Elegance, LLC (Cassandra Smith and Deborah Bowman) as my wedding planners. Deborah provided me with a list of well-respected vendors, a planning time line, and wealth of time-saving, money-saving, and lovely ideas to make our wedding and reception everything that we had hoped for. She helped me to plan the occasion with a budget in mind and readily accommodated vendors that she had not worked with in the past. Deborah met with my vendors to check on details, worked out contract specifics, and provided them with day-of-service time lines. Both Deborah and Cassie provided us with meticulously detailed rehearsal, wedding-day, and reception time lines. Their day-of-event service kept everything running smoothly, and neither family was bothered with questions from setup to tear down. We could, and did, completely and effortlessly enjoy our wedding and reception. From our first meeting, I was thoroughly impressed with Deborah and Cassie! They were very professional while making me feel so special and genuinely shared my excitement for getting married! It was an easy decision to hire Deborah and Cassie for our outdoor rehearsal and wedding day, and I cannot express my gratitude for all that they did to make my entire wedding experience the absolute best it could have been! They went above and beyond my expectations with every aspect of the planning process. Even though we only hired Deborah and Cassie to help with our rehearsal and coordinate on the “day-of”, they took active roles from day one and made sure that we had considered every detail along the way.
